stage

There is a monster in the forest and a monster in the family. In an attempt to save her siblings, a young woman is catapulted between two dimensions: the Real World and the Fairytale. Here is where she must confront not just the fight-or-flight of her formative years, but the third phenomena as well: freeze.

S.T.A.T. (or, Stop Talking About That) is Jasmine’s first literary work for the stage and was selected for Son of Semele Theatre’s 2016 Solo Creation Festival. After expanding the play in 2017, Jasmine ran a workshopped production of S.T.A.T. at Pacific Resident Theatre under the direction and dramaturgy of Che’Rae Adams (the Gandalf to Jasmine’s Frodo).
